I currently accept the following insurance:
Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield
Colorado Medicaid covers mental health services completely with no co-pays or other out of pocket costs.
Using Insurance for Video Conferencing Sessions:
Colorado Medicaid and Cigna always cover video conferencing (telehealth) sessions exactly the same as in-person sessions. Video conferencing is covered with no out of pocket costs by Colorado Medicaid, if using Cigna any out of pocket costs will be the same as in-office sessions, depending on co-pays/deductibles. Anthem/BCBS usually covers video conferencing the same as in-office sessions, but occasionally does not, so it is a good idea to check with your plan to determine this.
Counseling sessions are $120 per 50-minute individual session, if paying cash. If you are using insurance the amount charged will be determined by your insurance plan and co-pays, deductibles, or any other out-of-pocket costs that apply. I am happy to walk you through any costs associated with your insurance, and I never charge any fees without discussing first. I really don't like surprise charges and I don't imagine anyone else does either! I'm willing to meet for a free 30-minute consultation with no obligation to continue services if you would like to meet me first to determine if the services that I provide are right for you.
I provide individual counseling services online through a HIPAA compliant video conferencing application. Video conferencing, or telehealth, sessions can typically be accessed using any electronic device with an internet connection such as smart phone, tablet, or laptop.
